Who We Are

Founded in the heart of Africa, In African Soil is an export business who is passionate about Africa and its people. Our roots lie deep within the soil of this beautiful continent and its rich cultural heritage from which a unique and ever changing creative landscape is emerging.
Each of our handpicked and carefully sourced items carry with it the essence of Africa whether it be a beautifully crafted wooden bowl, a hand printed cushion or a beaded necklace worn around your neck. You can be sure that each piece is handmade with pride by our local designer’s and craftsmen.

Our purpose

We as a company aim to support and develop our local artists while uplifting and supporting their families and communities. Through investing in local projects and skill development we are able to help grow local businesses and ensure a sustainable future for Africa and its people.
Working together with designers and small companies we are able to offer the international market with high quality and unique pieces.

starting her own company.

"After seeing the African design and fashion landscape change over the years I believe there is a      uniqueness and depth to African design the world hasn’t seen"

There is no bigger satisfaction in life than helping and uplifting communities by empowering

them to do what they love. Therefore, it is our aim to ensure the craft and design in Africa

doesn’t get lost but is celebrated in its entirety.
